How would you describe a man that has towed his son behind himself in an inflatable raft 2.4 miles, pulled him 112 miles on a bike and then pushed him in a wheelchair for a marathon, simply to give his son the pleasure of not feeling handicapped? How about toeing him over 3000 miles by bike in less than 45 days. What about if your son liked it so much that you did this every year for the next 33 years and you compete in over 1000 marathon events, biathlons, endurance triathlons. In one word Team Hoyt is “Extraordinary”.
