Tawakkol Karman

 Tawakkol Karman AKA “the Iron woman, and Mother of the Revolution”, journalist, human rights activist, mother, independent member of the Al-Islah Yemen’s political party, founder of Women Journalists Without Chains, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize Award in 2011 for her efforts in establishing nonviolent protests and demonstrations for freedom of speech for journalist, the safety of women, women’s rights and their full participation in the peace building work of Yemen; she is the youngest ever (32 years old) and only the second Muslim to receive this prestigious award.
